From Soul to Soul
Master Sant Thakar Singh's visit
in Russia from May 4th-20th 2003
The seed of spirituality is lying dormant in us.
At the time of Initiation, the Master Power restores
the once-lost connection between the soul and
God. The seed is awakened and begins to grow.
Master takes care of each and every seed like
a loving and wise gardener, protecting it from
weeds, watering it and giving it light and warmth
of His own Soul. It takes much time, strength
and patience for a small seed to grow into a wonderful
tree.
Each visit of the master is not only a much awaited
encounter between the disciple and his beloved
teacher, but a powerful impulse on the path of
spirituality for each of us.
The visit of Sant Thakar Singh in Taganrog in
May of this year is the sixth visit of the Master
to the countries of the former Soviet Union. Until
then there were meetings with the Master in Moscow
and Arkhangelsk (Russia) 1996, in Odessa (Ukraine)
1997 and 1998, in Moscow and Odessa in 1999 and
in Kiev (Ukraine) 2001. It is not by accident
that Southern Russia was chosen this time. It
is warmer there than in the middle of Russia,
which is very important, because the Master's
Satsangs were to take place in the open air. Besides
that, Taganrog is a converging point of traffic,
with good train connections, not only from all
parts of Russia but also from other countries.
The city of Taganrog is located on the coast of
the Azowian Sea. The numerous vacation facilities
caught the attention of the organizers of the
retreat. The preparations of the retreat started
last fall. The most difficult part was finding
an appropriate hall for Satsang, which would accommodate
the expected number of visitors. At first it looked
as if the Satsangs would be held in a large, roofed
barn. However, the barn is situated at a distance
of 3 km from the housing complex in which the
guests of the retreat would stay. Therefore the
organization committee decided to prepare an open-air
space directly on the territory of the housing
complexes. A group of sevadars cleared the space
and set up a cloth barrier, and a podium with
a roof, where Master would sit. It took one month
to build the three hundred wooden benches on which
the guests would sit during Satsang. A small house
was renovated with love and care, in which Master
and his team would stay.
Finally, the long awaited day, May 4th 2003 arrived.
The initiates of Krasnodav had the special luck
to be the first to welcome Master. He arrived
at the airport of Krasnodar in the afternoon and
was immediately brought to the Satsang and meditation
center in Krasnodar. This event was very meaningful
for the initiates of Krasnodar and many people
had come together. Even some of the initiates
who otherwise never attended Satsang came to this
meeting. The Master gave the initiates of Krasnodar
a wonderful twenty minute welcome Satsang. In
this way Master blessed the Satsang room in the
Krasnodar center. After the Satsang Master attentively
viewed the other rooms of the center: the hall
for intensive meditations on the upper floor,
the office of the Russian video team and the side
rooms. Master expressed His joy that the initiates
of Krasnodar have the possibility to gather and
meditate in their own center (in such a large,
comfortable house).
From Krasnodar, Master was driven by car to Taganrog.
The drive from Krasnodar to Taganrog took about
five hours. Therefore Master finally arrived in
Taganrog about midnight. Russian initiates from
all parts of the former SU countries were arriving
in the complex since May 3rd. Upon Master's arrival
on the night of May 4th, about 2,500 intitiates
were awaiting Him. Even though it was late at
night, no one went to their room to rest from
the long train ride: Everyone was waiting for
Master's arrival. When the car of Sant Thakar
Singh appeared on the grounds of the complex,
a second sea formed on the shore of the Azowian
Sea- a sea of happy and excited children, who
were seeing their beloved Father after a long
separation. Master's car drove slowly by the long
rows of initiates, who stood along the road. Again
and again one could hear enthusiastic shouts,
"Master!" It is difficult to describe
the waves of love and happiness which spread as
our beloved Master got out of His car and slowly
blessed the sea of his disciples with his glance.
Then Master withdrew into the house to rest from
the long journey.
Initiates and seekers had come from all parts
of the former SU countries to this meeting with
Master. Among the visitors, there were about 1,500
participants from Russia, 800 from the Ukraine,
140 from Kazakhstan, 50 from Uzbekistan and smaller
groups from the Belarus, Armenia and the Baltics.
The initiates form Nakhodka and Vladivostok on
the Pacific Ocean, had to travel the farthest:
six days by train.
The visitors of the retreat were housed in three
vacation complexes, either in rooms or in their
own tents. The initiates from different towns
had come in buses which they slept in during the
retreat. The initiates of the city of Pensa had
found an especially creative solution for this
economic problem. They came in a big truck and
used the roofed loading space as a meditation
room, by carpeting it with rugs and meditation
pillows. They also brought a tent with the necessary
utensils to serve as a kitchen.
The Satsangs were scheduled for twice a day, one
at 10 am and the other at 7:30pm. The first Satsang
took place on May 5th in the morning. Master welcomed
all the participants of the retreat with the words,
"My dear sisters and brothers, I am very
happy to be among my family again." All who
were present, shared this joy. Many of them saw
Master for the first time. The morning was windy
and cool. After the Satsang, Master attentively
viewed the "Satsang-meadow" and its
surroundings; the trees, the beach and the general
location. On the way home, Master said, "The
place is well suited for the Satsangs, for such
a great number of people. Everything is arranged
in a simple way, without big expenses. But is
this not the rainy season?" We explained
to Master that it seldom rains in this region,
but that we were putting all our hope in God that
the weather of all the days with Master would
be dry, warm and calm. By the evening Satsang
it had cooled off even more. The initiates were
worried that Master would be cold and might catch
a cold. Some people brought their blankets and
clothing to the podium to keep Master warm. The
next day, the weather wasn't any better. A strong,
cold wind pulled on the roof of the podium, but
Master sat calmly and unperturbed in his seat
and nothing could disturb the Satsang. At the
end of the Satsang Master said, "From now
on you will be blessed with good weather."
And in fact, the strong wind calmed down and during
the entire retreat there was not one drop of rain.
It was sunny, warm summer weather.
In His Satsangs, Master put much emphasis on the
importance of meditation. He said that we are
not sincere in our efforts to put ourselves in
Master's hands and therefore our meditations are
not successful and of little effect. "Each
time I come to you, I hope to see you making some
progress on the path. But you are just stagnant..."
Master remarked that everyone was more attracted
to the outer world and no one had the sincere
strong wish to work on the meditations. In each
Satsang, Master repeated the question, "What
is the purpose of your coming into this world?"
and He replied, "You are supposed to find
God and Kingdom of God and to enjoy." The
Master asked us to invest all our strength in
order to reach our destination as fast as possible.
In ancient times, seekers of God gave up their
worldly life completely and lived only with the
Master. They made great sacrifices and served
selflessly in Masters mission. This purified them
and only then did they receive Initiation. In
this day and age, such an arrangement is not possible.
Any person can be initiated immediately and the
process of purification takes place after initiation.
As long as we are not clean enough, we can not
rise to receive God's blessings. Besides the meditation
we have other means by which we can be cleaned:
physical and financial service (Seva). With the
help of Seva we can become free of many problems
and difficulties.
The morning Satsangs of the 8th and 9th of May
were announced as public Satsangs with Initiation.
Prior to the Satsangs we had posted invitations
in the neighboring towns of Taganrog and Rostov-am-Don.
"The Journey Within" as well an announcement
of the upcoming talks, was shown on public television
in Taganrog. Approx. 450 seekers attended these
two Satsangs, and 210 of them received the connection
with God. The public Satsangs took place on the
"Satsang- meadow." For the Initiation,
the seekers were asked to come into a smaller
hall where Master came to give them the Initiation.
A group of 12 IRS had the good fortune to assist
Master during the Initiation. This has become
a rare opportunity; that Master personally gives
Initiation, and so all who were allowed to participate
were very happy.
Every day after lunch, IRS held talks and gave
Initiations for seekers. Altogether, 320 souls
received the gift of the inner connection with
Light and Sound, including those souls who were
initiated after the two public Satsangs. Most
of the new initiates came from the neighboring
cities of Taganrog and Rostov-am-Don. However,
among them were also seekers who had come a long
distance, some as far as a five day and night
journey, accompanying their relatives and friends.
In the afternoons Master met with groups of active
workers in the Mission from various countries-
with the representatives of their countries, with
the sevadars of the retreats, with the IRS and
those responsible for publications and public
work.
In the meetings with the regional representatives,
Master looked at the exact location of each country
on the map and was updated on the details of the
work of the Mission in each country. The Master
was especially interested in certain details and
problems of their work, and He gave recommendations
on how various problems could be solved.
In a meeting with the sevadars of the retreats,
Master discussed the questions concerning their
work. He recommended the establishment of smaller
retreats which could accommodate 5-15 persons.
Once a day, Master took a walk on the shore of
the Azowian sea or on the ground of the Retreat
complex. Many enthusiastic sevadars had cleared
the beach of litter and had made a comfortable
path for Master. With sea shells and pebbles,
they had written out phrases like, "Dear
Master, we love you" along the path. During
Master's walk one could see people sitting in
meditation all over the grounds and on the beach.
Some were awaiting the moment when Master would
pass by them and they could enjoy the sight of
Him. The others were meditating so sweetly inside,
that they did not even notice that Master was
passing right by them.
The days flew by. The hearts opened to the stream
of Divine Love, which flooded the souls of all
who were present. On the 13th of May, after the
morning Satsang, Master descended from the podium
in absolute silence, looked into the crowd and
whispered, "Ok, my dear..." The hearts
of the people responded to the message of love.
Master smiled, His eyes shone, and He waved His
hand to all. In return, hundreds of hands rose
to wave good-bye till the next Satsang. From then
on Master waved good-bye in this way after each
Satsang and hundreds and hundreds of hands wished
Him a good night or a good day.
Nothing lasts forever in this world. The last
day of the retreat, the 15th of May arrived. After
the morning Satsang, Master distributed parshad
to everyone. The long row of initiates moved in
great concentration along the fence of poplars
up to the front side of the "Satsang-meadow,"
until they reached the Master who was standing
at the podium. Master filled the out-stretched
hands with raisins. His glance penetrated into
the depths of the soul. Treasuring the precious
gift the Master had given, the initiates left
the "meadow." In the evening Satsang
of May 15th, Master said good-bye to all the participants
of the retreat with the words: "My dear,
I am sad to have to leave you. I feel very good
amongst you. But your sisters and brothers in
other countries are also waiting for me to visit
them. Therefore, you have to let me go..."
In the morning of May16, as Master stepped out
of His house for the last time, to get into his
car to the airport, a long line of initiates was
waiting to say good-bye to Him. Master walked
slowly along the line of silent disciples. His
glance, full of unlimited love, filled every body
with inexpressible joy and happiness. The Master
walked and walked and showered His children with
blessings. Then he lifted His hand to say good-bye
and in response hundreds of hands arose and remained
lifted until Master's car was out of sight.
After an hour and a half flight, the capitol city
of Russia, Moscow, was awaiting Master. His route
lead Him through the center of Moscow- the Red
Square and the Kremlin, where the political and
economic center of Russia is located. The Master
took a short walk across the Red Square and then
drove to the Moscow meditation center, which is
located at the outskirts of the city . In the
center there is a large meditation room, a room
for Satsang, public talks and workshops, a kitchen
and some side rooms. The center also houses the
office of the society. Master attentively viewed
all the rooms of the center. In the office, He
stopped in front of a big map of Moscow on which
the private Satsangs in the city are marked. He
informed Himself about the situation of each Satsang.
After viewing the center, all initiates who were
present gathered in the meditation room and Master
gave a short Satsang. In the Satsang, Master said,
"If we plant a tree, it will be weak in the
beginning and other plants can destroy it. Therefore,
it is important that we take care of the tree;
pull out any weeds, and water it. But as soon
as the tree is big and strong enough, no other
plants can do it any harm. It will grow and grow,
undisturbed." In just this way, we are to
gather strength and grow in our meditations, and
then we will be blessed, and through us this world
will be blessed.
The Moscow initiates told Master that the center
is open from Tuesday to Sunday and that there
is 24 hour meditation going on. Master said, "The
meditation is the most important. Only due to
your meditations, will the center grow in strength
and attract many people, who will also be blessed
by your meditations."
The short stay in Moscow went by quickly, and
Master was traveling again by car to the first
and biggest retreat in Russia, in the village
of Sverchkovo in the region of Ivanovo. The journey
was not easy, because of a large traffic jam at
the beltway around Moscow. It took about six hours
to reach the destination, and so Master ended
up arriving at the retreat late at night. The
retreat is situated in a lonely Russian village
which seems like the end of the world. The village
is surrounded by vast beach- and pine tree forests
in untouched nature and silence.
Master stayed in the retreat for three days. He
held Satsangs twice a day and meditated for one
to two hours with the intitiates in the meditation
hall. It is impossible to describe the silence
and exceptional inner concentration which one
experiences when one meditates next to Master.
Everything falls away: the world and the problems.
The mind does not run about like a naughty child,
but instead delights in the Godly presence of
the Master.
In the Satsangs, Master went into great depth
in his explanations. He spoke a great deal about
the quality of the meditation. He remarked that
we are not capable of meditating correctly. Real
meditation requires the full concentration of
attention. Our minds must not be distracted by
anything. Our mind is used to jumping from one
problem to the next, from one thought to the next.
It is full of impressions of this world and is
constantly burning in the fires of wishes and
desires. Such a mind is not capable of meditating
correctly. But if we listen to the Sound current
and constantly try to keep Simran, the worldly
wishes will be cleared out of our memory by and
by. Peace and a feeling of joy will develop in
us which the soul will enjoy during meditation.
Only when the impressions of the meditation are
stronger and more beautiful than the impressions
of the outer world, will the mind be able to concentrate.
The Master spoke in His Satsangs about the tasks
of the retreats. Master Himself was confronted
with the very simple lifestyle, typical of the
Russian village. During a walk Master viewed the
grounds, including all the houses and fields which
belonged to the retreat. He asked questions concerning
the lifestyle at the retreat and gave suggestions
for the improvement of the living conditions.
In the Satsang he said that living means to be
able to adapt to any prevailing circumstances,
and that the simplicity of life in the retreat
as well as its location make it possible to go
deeper into meditation and to create an exceptional
atmosphere, removed from modern civilization.
Twice, Master took walks in the nearby forest
where silence and peace prevailed. The soft rain
that welcomed Him upon the day of His arrival
ceased and sunny, warm spring weather commenced.
On the third day of His stay in Sverchkovo, some
villagers came to the retreat to see Master while
He was taking a walk. Master greeted the villagers-
some old women and a middle-aged man. He greeted
them very lovingly and gave them a short Satsang.
He spoke of what awaits man after death; the meaning
of human life; and that the help of the Master
is available to them, and that He is ready to
help them get the connection with God.
In the evening Satsang, Master expressed: "My
dear, I am glad that you have made this retreat.
The Master has visited this place, and it is now
blessed." After the Satsang and the meditation,
everyone received prashad, blessed food from His
hands, and blessings from His glance.
The next morning, May 20th, Master was driven
from the retreat Sverchkovo to the airport in
Moscow. Initiates who lived in a neighboring village,
had come out onto the street where Master's car
would drive by, to say farewell. When Master arrived
in the airport, there was still time until check-in,
and He attended to the group of initiates who
had escorted Him. An initiate asked Master, "Dear
Master, how do you feel? Wasn't it hard for you
to drive on our roads?" Master replied, "I
feel good. I am used to hard work, therefore I
always feel good working hard." An initiate
said, "Master, we love you," to which
Master smilingly replied, "Yes, I know, but
you do not love me enough. You have to love the
inner Master. Don't cling to the outer Master;
love the Master inside.
The moment of farewell had come, and Master waved
for the last time, before He walked through the
passport control. The initiates stayed behind
with the feeling of being wonderfully full of
new strength and impulses of Divine Love, which
radiates from Master, and also with the hope of
a next encounter.

Our body is always dead, and our soul is always
living; if we hand ourselves over to God, then we
will enjoy that perfection that God Himself is enjoying;
life, light, and all creation is contained in the
holy sound; don't work for hells; raw food and silence;
if you control your mind, you have controlled the
whole world
Okay my dear, at last I am among you, my dear children,
my dear souls whom I really love. I don't like that
you should stay here in this world, (which is) very
horrible, very dirty and only suitable for animals.
It has been told to you by all Masters, even in
the holy Bible it is written, that this world is
the valley of death (where) evil is ruling with
sufferings. You will see that where there is an
ocean, there is only water. In the same way, in
this world which is the valley of death, (there)
is only death. Death means sufferings and always
changing. The definition of matter is (that) matter
is always changing. It means there is a continuous
death process. What we are today, we will not remain
the same after ten years, and after another ten
years we will still be more changed. Everything
is changing in this world. (At) some time we were
not existing in this world. Then we came in the
form of a small child. We did not remain a child;
then we were grown up, and we were quite strong
and feeling like enjoying the life of this world.
Then we lost our youth and then could find ourselves
as old persons. An old person will also not remain
here; he will be no more. Everything has died. Our
childhood had died, our youth has died, and our
old age has also died. What are we then? Nobody
can change this process of this change. It is always
going on, always going on. It is also full of sufferings,
problems, worries, (and) diseases because this is
the basic character of this world and everybody
has to suffer. There is no escape. Even kings and
emperors are to suffer because evil is ruling with
sufferings. When there is day, light is ruling,
you cannot escape the light. When the sun goes away,
the night is ruling and darkness is there. You cannot
escape darkness. When evil is ruling in this world,
then how can you enjoy, how can you live peacefully,
how can you escape all these sufferings, diseases,
problems, death? You also know that we will suffer,
we will not remain as we are. At any time any accident,
any incident, or any horrible change can be there
and we can also be no more.
Sometimes the people feel like enjoying also in
this world, but it is not really enjoyment. As every
day is followed by night and every night is followed
by day, in the same way every enjoyment is followed
by some kind of terror, some kind of suffering because
(in) this world of change, whatever we have got
will not remain for a long time. If we are suffering,
suffering will also not remain. It will also change.
If we are enjoying, enjoyment will also not be remaining
(for) a long time, (but) it will also change into
some kind of hard suffering. Then how can we enjoy
some enjoyment when the next moment can be of suffering?
Sometime back I happened to go to the Hawaiian Islands,
(where) there was an initiate of me. I stayed in
his house. I stayed in their house for about four
or five days, but when I went to their house the
woman was crying. I asked, "I have come. You
should be happy. Why are you crying?" She told,
"I am crying that after five days you will
be going away. [Laughter] So, this happiness is
no doubt happiness, but this remembrance of your
departure also I cannot forget. I have to cry also."
Generally we are enjoying some kind of temporary
enjoyments only with the idea that, "This enjoyment
will continue. I will not suffer. This will not
change." That is the only way that we can enjoy
sometimes - maybe for some minutes, maybe for some
hours, maybe for some days. If we had known that
this enjoyment is temporary, it will not remain,
it will change into some very hard suffering, then
we cannot enjoy that enjoyment. But this is also
not good that we are ignorant of the happenings.
We should know what is to come and we should be
ready for that.
So, sufferings, problems, worries, diseases (are)
the permanent situation of this world. We need enjoyment
and peace eternal because only something which is
stable and eternal can be enjoyed. If you find a
friend today and you are very happy, you feel like
keeping that friend always in that friendly state.
But then it happens that the friend changes his
mind and is not a friend anymore or sometimes he
leaves us. This has always been the quest of man
- to find eternal peace and eternal happiness, eternal
enjoyment. Temporary good situations are not really
satisfying us. And what is the great tragedy with
us? That is there that when we leave the physical
body, our soul has to go through some kind of very,
very horrible situations. This world is made like
this that sufferings are there, but not so much,
and enjoyments are also there but also not (in)
intensity, just a little. And they are changing
also very quickly. As day and night also change
very quickly. Seasons also change but may take one
year.
So, this world is more or less a moderation (??)
and is quickly changing. So, when we are suffering,
we feel that, "It will remain only for some
time. After some time we will be much better again."
There is hope for us that, "If I am ill today,
after some time - maybe ten or twenty days - I can
get well." If today I am suffering the winter
season, I expect that this will change, and if I
am suffering the summer season, this I also expect
that it will change. So, no doubt, this world is
mostly of sufferings, but there is expectation of
changes, and we can change. There is hope. But my
dear, one thing you are to know very definitely:
after leaving this physical body either we are adjusted
to that situation which is permanently highest,
like that of God.
For that it has been ordained in all scriptures:
"Be ye perfect even as your Father who in heavens
is perfect." Find the way of life, get yourself
connected through a perfect Master to the holy sound
and holy light. And "Seek ye first the kingdom
of God." The kingdom of God is also there in
us. "The kingdom of God cometh not by observation;
it is within you." Then in this lifestyle when
we come in contact with the kingdom of God and are
blessed with God, His blessings, then this life
is also permanently in our highest ecstacy as that
of God. We will come to understand also that, "Now
we have found somebody and some situation which
will remain for eternity the highest and the best."
In the holy Bible also suchlike explanation of a
man who found the kingdom of God and God is there.
He says to God: "My dear, no doubt I am living
in the valley of death and evil is ruling with sufferings,
but I fear no evil because you are with me."
So, after finding God and the kingdom of God, one
is really feeling that, "I will enjoy forever,
for eternity." This is what is required of
us and we have to understand and achieve it. But
the other way of life is also there. That is called
the way of destruction. Where and how do we find
suchlike horrible situation which is called the
way of destruction? When we do not care for God
and we do not care for His kingdom of God, when
we do not care for the perfection of God, and we
do not understand that we are not bodies, (but)
we are souls.
This wonderful explanation has also been given in
the holy Bible that, "God made man out of the
dust of this earth." It was lifeless. As sometimes
we also make some statue made of earth, made of
wood, made of stone. It looks like something - a
horse, cat, dog, or man - but it is lifeless. Then
further it is written: "Then God breathed into
his nostrils the breath of life and the man became
a living soul." It is very clear that this
body made of dust is dead. It has no life. As your
car is, no doubt, in working order, but it cannot
move, it cannot work. It is dead. But when the driver
begins to work in it, then the driver is making
it run, and then it is living. So, as body we are
not living. Our soul which is active and which has
power, which has its all consciousness, that is
working in this body. As at some time, when this
power of soul comes out of this body, then this
body is lying like dead. Daily we experience this
kind of death experience. When we are sleeping,
our body is lying like dead because the soul which
was over here [Master points to the third eye center]
in the awakening state has left its seat of working
and has gone down in the navel plexus and is disconnected
from the body. That is a state of death. Again when
the soul comes up and extends its life currents
in the whole body, again we feel like living and
working. It very clearly explains that our life
over here is not through the body (but) it is through
our soul. Life is in the soul, not in the body.
And what is living, it will live forever. That is
called living. It means our body is always dead,
and our soul is always living.
In a dream, when you are dreaming, what happens?
Your body is lying like dead on the bed, and you
are active in the dream. You are doing something,
you are creating something, you are destroying something.
Some activities are going on in the dream. But the
body doesn't know what you are doing as soul. The
body even doesn't know where it is lying - if it
is existing or not even. But when you are awakened
and the soul comes over here [Master points to the
third eye center], then the soul begins to say,
"I have found suchlike dream. I have suffered
it," or "I have enjoyed it." The
body has not suffered, the body has not enjoyed.
The body was just lying dead on the bed. But you
are saying that, "I have suffered in such a
way or I have enjoyed in such a way during the dream,"
because where you were, there was life. You were
active and you were conscious. There you know what
you are, where you are, in what condition you are.
When we daily experience suchlike experience of
life and death, why can't we understand where is
life, who is living, and who is dead? We should
try to find ourselves as soul and adjust it where
it is coming from, where it will be able to live.
This is very, very important.
If a child belongs to some family, he has to be
in the family. Then he will not suffer. Then he
will enjoy. But if a child is lost from his family,
he is wandering somewhere, what will be his condition?
He will only suffer. Now if we are soul - as we
have just solved the problem (of) what we are -
where are we belonging, where can we take rest,
where can we live our own kind of life of enjoyment?
It is very clear that we are a part of God, God
made us, (and) we are souls. "The soul bears
the seal of God; it belongs to God," and it
is ordained, "Give it unto God." As per
instructions of the Master, if we hand ourselves
over to God, He is there in His kingdom, then we
will enjoy that perfection that God Himself is enjoying.
We may be in the physical body, but still God and
the kingdom of God are there already fitted in the
physical body, so we can enjoy our higher life of
soul, and we will also be able to enjoy the lower
life of the body because we will have authority
on everything of this world (and) nothing will happen
to us which we do not like.
So, it has been explained to us that, "He who
overcomes, to him I will give powers to rule over
the nations." Anybody who comes out of this
world, out of this body, mind, and intellect and
enters into the kingdom of God and gets connected
with the holy light and sound of God, then God will
give us power to rule over all the world. All the
angels will be at our beck and call. We have authority
on the air, the water, or on the creatures of the
water or dry earth. Anything existing in the creation
of Lord God will be under our control.
So, the life of perfection which is told is not
in credit, that we find it some time after death
only, (but) it is available now, here. It is told,
"Be ye perfect". Just now you are to be
perfect. If your father has put some money in your
pocket, he says, "Have the money. Have the
money!" So, perfection has been given to you,
the kingdom of God has also been given to you, and
your God has also offered Himself to you. Since
the world began, the first flicker of man appeared
in this world, God had come in this world to tell
man "what you are, how you are suffering, how
you can end your sufferings, and how you can enjoy
the best and highest as I am enjoying". In
the scriptures it is told, "As He spake through
the mouth of His holy prophets who have been since
the world began."
I have also gone through so many scriptures of so
many countries, of so many religions, and by so
many Masters. They all tell in the same phase (??),
the same power that we are required to understand
and to do. Any scriptures, maybe of two thousand
years back or five thousand years back - records
(of) which are available - they tell the same thing.
(That) which any Master has told, the same thing
(was) told (by) all the Masters. We have been given
some kind of intellect. We can be told, we can be
made to understand.
Don't you understand what I say to you? In some
language, it is told to you. But why don't you accept
it? This is our fault. We can now not blame anybody
- our Father God or any other agency - that why
we are suffering. If a child is sitting outside
the house and snowfall is there, all thunderstorms
are there, and the child is suffering, then it is
not that anyone else is to be blamed. It is the
fault of the child that he had not entered into
his home.
God calls us: "Oh ye, the weary and heavy laden,
come to me! I will give you rest. I will give you
peace. I will give you life. I will give you everything.
It is only I, who am your father," who has
love for you, who has faith for you, and who has
really everything with Him that He can bless us.
He very clearly says that, "In my creation,
there is nobody else for you. It is only I who can
help you. I am available to you. I am not away from
you. I am just by the side of your soul. Where you
are, I am always existing by the side. And for this
information I had always been coming in this world
to tell you and also to connect you with this helping
factor."
I think all of you are initiated already, at least
most of you are initiated, and all of you had been
connected with the holy sound and light. Where is
this holy light and sound coming from? It is all
coming from God. As it is told in the gospel of
Saint John: "In the beginning was the Word.
And the Word was with God and the Word was God."
So, this sound which has been given to you - this
Word - this is God. "In Him was the life."
This is the life - in Word God - and "The life
was the light of the man."
So, life, light, and all creation is contained in
this holy sound. Who can hand over to you all this
godly aspect? It is only He. He only can bless His
own self. So, God has offered you His own self.
What else is there that you expect from Him or somebody
else? This is the doer power of God. "Everything
was made by Him. There was nothing made that was
not made by Him." With this power of the Word,
God was calling Himself to be God because He had
created everything with this Word power. This power
has also been given to us so that we may be also
as perfect as our Father God is perfect in His holy
heavens. If you now pray to God, "My dear God,
please bless me this thing. Give me this thing.
I am suffering this thing. I am hard after this
thing," then what else can He give you? He
will say, "My dear, I had given you millions
and billions and you are asking for one cent, two
cents. Take care of what I have given to you which
is everything. Nothing else is there which is needed
to be found from anywhere else. You are my dear
child and I am your dear father. I know my responsibility
to you, but you have not understood me and your
responsibility for me. If you are suffering, it
is due to your ignorance - that you have not understood
me or believed me. There is never any chance that
you can find any peace, any life, or any enjoyment
to live from anywhere else. It is only with me that
you can find."
God truly says, "I am the be-all and end-all
of everything. Those who will come to me will be
blessed with everything. Those who will not come
to me will always be dead. Eternal sufferings, eternal
death, eternal problems will go on. I am only available
to you, the human beings, because this arrangement
of my blessings is available only to the soul which
is in the human body." Other species of life
are also there, maybe about eight million, including
angels, etc. God says (about them), "I am not
available to anybody. They may be suffering and
suffering and suffering in hells and hells but I
will not care for them because this is a system
I have put in that all those souls which have been
given to these regions of the negative power are
only to be taken back in the human body." There
is no remedy that they can end their sufferings.
There is no help. There is no God for them, there
is no Master for them, and there is no kind of instruction
even. They have also not been given any such kind
of intellect even that we can tell them and they
can understand. As you see that (no) elephant, horse,
cat, dog, or bird - (no) animal - can be told anything.
They will not be able to understand anything.
So, this very, very horrible, very, very hard situation
is there, no doubt, for all other species of life,
but for the human being it has been told, as in
the Bible also it is told, that, "Preach ye
that the kingdom of God is at hand." You had
been given the kingdom of God. That light and sound
which you found was from the kingdom of God when
your soul was admitted into the kingdom of God.
There you could find. So, this is your house. The
wonderful kingdom of God was handed over to you
but you did not believe it, did not go in, did not
try to find it and still are feeling like living
in this world."
Now I am also at a loss to say what to do with you.
Is there anything which I did not give you which
I have still with me? Master gives everything at
the time of initiation. He gives His own self, He
gives the kingdom of God, He gives you God, He makes
you also soul. Then why don't you accept it? What
is the difficulty in it? You are released from the
bondages of mind and matter, and you are cleaned
enough (so) that you can enter the kingdom of God.
It is only the blessings of Master that you can
achieve this greatest, highest blessing. Otherwise
with any of your efforts never you can find. Ages
and ages people had been trying their level best
with hardest efforts but all their efforts and every
struggle failed badly because it is a law that without
the help of the Master nobody can find, nobody could,
and nobody will be able. Even Lord Christ had to
be baptized, to be initiated, by his Master. Although
he was much bigger than John the Baptist who initiated
him. His Master knew that he is so big, so great
that, "I cannot even feel like tying the laces
of your shoes. Why are you asking me for initiation?
Rather you would have initiated me." Then the
Master smiled, "My dear, let the law be done.
This is the law. Even (though) I am directly sent
by God with all powers, but I have to go through
these rules and regulations of this world that without
the help of a Master nobody can find God and the
kingdom of God." It is written in the holy
Bible also that only then the gates of the kingdom
of God were opened for him and the spirit of God
was also coming to the Master.
This biggest gift has been given to you but you
have not understood it. You should have really found
the kingdom of God and God and then you would have
believed it also. Then you would have been able
to tell other people that, "As I could find
the kingdom of God and God just readily at hand,
why do all you people of the world suffer? Why don't
you find also and get perfection?" So, you
will have to understand that from the Master there
is no deficiency. What was expected of the Master,
he has done, but you have not been able to understand
it. What can I do? I am coming again and again,
again and again, and again try to shake you, to
awaken you but when I am gone, you are again sleeping
because the negative power has put such kind of
poisons upon you that it will not let you awaken
in life. But keep connected with the lifestyle in
the form of sound especially, and then only will
you be able to live and enjoy because "Man
doesn't live on the bread and water of this world
but with each Word which emanates from God."
Then you will rule over the nations and you will
have authority on everything in the creation of
Lord God. Your feeling then doesn't accept it because
your mind is having no understanding and no feeling.
That is why you have been awakened as soul that
you may work as soul with the holy light and sound,
and then you will find a clear understanding. This
is the highest kind of life which has been offered
to you, ………. for you to accept it
or neglect it.
So, this is one part of your life. If you find it,
you will be really glorious. If you neglect it,
the other part is also there. Our soul will remain
in the clutches of mind and matter, and evil will
be ruling over it with sufferings. Sufferings will
also be very, very horrible and eternal, not like
this world sometimes suffers - sometimes little,
sometimes more bearable - but now really unbearable.
You cannot understand what is the situation of the
hells. If you put your hand in fire, what will happen?
You really understand what horrible situation you
will have to go through. But if you are thrown into
such an oven of fires - hells - and you are not
burned even, you do not die, you will go on suffering.
This the Masters have not told to you that they
want to make you a little afraid of some things.
This is reality, my dear.
Here also you would have found some people suffering
very hard, very hard, unbearable. Even if you feel
like looking at them, you will not feel like looking
at so hard sufferings (that) they are going through.
But they are suffering because there is no remedy
for them. So, some kind of little explanation of
hells is also available in this world but not so
much as it is over there. So my dear, it is again
my humble submission to all of you: please be careful
(and) don't work for hells. Don't live in this world
in connection with this world and under the control
of mind and matter. Start living in the kingdom
of God in connection with the holy sound and holy
light. Then you will never suffer hells and never
suffer second death. You will live forever that
highest, perfect life as that of God.
My dear, who will tell you? I have been telling
you again and again, again and again. I feel like
telling you till you have not really understood.
But how long can my body remain among you? After
I leave the body, who will tell you? As you know
already that I am an old man, and this is the last
phase of my body. First I was a child, then I was
young, and now I am old. Then I will be dead. But
I will not be able to die peacefully when you are
suffering over here and will also suffer in hells.
How can a father feel peaceful when his childen
are suffering? At least I have accepted you. You
are my childen. I love you, but you may or may not
(love me). I cannot say. You say that you also love
me, but I don't feel like that because there is
another standard of love which Master wants. If
you come to me, bow down to me, give me some food,
give me some building, give me some relief to my
physical body, that is not that you love me. Master
says, "If you love me, keep my commandments."
Any service to me, any devotion to me at the worldly
level, that is meaningless for me. You will have
to accept my words and go along with those words
and live that life at the level of soul. Then Master
will find that you love him. Then he will also be
able to love you and your love will also be valued.
So my dear, life is short and art is long. So, I
feel that you should understand it and make no further
delay. I am here with you for about two weeks and
this is more than sufficient. What I have told you
today, it should be sufficient. However I feel that
you should go on (with) all these helping factors.
Try to use more of raw food because that is living
food and the other food which is cooked on fire
becomes dead. It will not give us life. With raw
food you will be able to live longer and without
any disease or weaknesses.
Naturally also you will observe silence. If you
are very worried that, "This thing is lost.
I have to find (it). I have to find (it). Where
is it? Where is it?" people will say, "Why
are you not talking to us? Why are you so much in
your own self?" If they ask ten (times), then
you will reply one time, "My dear, I have lost
something very, very wonderful and I have to get
it." If you have lost your father or mother,
or something very, very wonderful, you don't feel
like wearing anything glorious, eating any things,
or enjoying anything. You are really calm, quiet,
and sad. So, when you will find that you have not
been able to find life and you have to live, without
it you cannot exist, it is only sufferings, then
you will have really great attraction to it and
you will automatically be silent. But you will really
rejoice and will dance and sing also when you have
found what you have to find. But then, when you
will dance in the kingdom of God with God, with
your friend, really you will enjoy. Something of
this world also you will be able to enjoy.
So my dear, your desire should be for the life which
is real life, not the life which you are having
now. The words of the Master are guidelines for
you. There is nothing in this world which can help
you. I know how the words of my Master had guided
me, helped me, and I could feel satisfied because
I listened to him, understood him and accepted him
and could find.
Now I am feeling like helping the world, but with
your help. All your bodies are to be my bodies because
I should be the driver in you. Master takes seat
in the body of everybody with one's soul so that
this body, mind, and intellect (are then) working
in my way of life. You are not to do the will of
your mind or any worldly person, but you are only
to do the will of God.
Okay, my dear, I am pleased to be among you. Here
you (should) feel like not talking or socializing
but try to listen to the talks and then meditate.
What very emergent services are there - eating food,
washing clothes, or taking a bath, cleanliness a
little - that you may go through. That should also
be silently with simran. Some seva, if it is available,
that you can also do. You may go on (with) physical
services, maybe to your own self or to others, but
your mind should always be connected with simran
and remembrance of the Master. Always keep very
much control of your naughty mind. If you control
it, you have controlled the whole world. If it is
out of control, then everything, even a little dust
particle, will be hard for you. Mind can be controlled
only with the help of the sound current.
Okay, my dear, what I have explained to you, told
to you, you have listened very patiently and lovingly.
But I think this should be sufficient for you. You
need not know anything more. A lesson which has
been given to you today should be totally grasped.
And till I go back, I may feel that you are all
indwellers of the kingdom of God, (and) you are
not suffering over here. Your body is to exist here
in this world, but when you close your eyes, you
are in the kingdom of God because as soul and mind
you do not belong to this world. Only body is there
that it may be just going along in this world. This
misadjustment of soul and mind and matter, that
is to be disentangled. Body is to go along over
here, and soul is to enjoy in the kingdom of God
with God. Then body, mind, intellect, all your family,
relatives, and friends, all the worldly people also
will be enjoying the blessings which are coming
from God through your soul.
Okay, my dear, I think you now may take your seats
for meditations. So, I hope you will stay here up
till midnight - twelve. Otherwise you can meditate
more than that here or in your own dwelling places,
wherever you like. It is not some obligation to
me or to anybody else. It is your own welfare that
you may enjoy it. So, please bless yourself. Master
has already blessed you. But I will say that you
may try to meditate on sound as best as possible
because the sound meditation is easy and also more
powerful. If anybody has no sound, he may go on
trying to meditate upon sound. It may or may not
be there (but) the benefit will be there. However,
I will like that everybody should find sound at
least. If anybody is there who is not having (it),
help will be there. Okay, my dear, now take your
seats for meditation and enjoy.
Sant Thakar Singh
at the Euro-Retreat in Jesolo, Italy
May 26 to June 8, 2003
The long awaited event had finally come for nearly
3.000 initiates from altogether 31 different countries
of Europe and other parts of the world: The Euro-Retreat
2003 with Sant Thakar Singh.
When Master's car entered the gate of the "Villaggio
Marzotto", a big holiday village in the northern
part of Italy, a large crowd of initiates lined
the road, and more were waiting in front of the
building which traditionally houses the Master.
This was the 6th time that the Retreat took place
here. Master got out of the car and walked towards
the waiting crowd, very slowly, showering his loving,
benign glance at each and everyone. It seemed like
everyone received his full attention and blessing
looks. This phenomena of taking notice of every
single soul was apparent throughout the Retreat,
particularly each time Master entered the Satsang
tent, when He majestically walked through the aisle
towards the dais, greeted the audience with folded
hands and showered his radiant, loving glance all
around. He took a long time doing that, turning
slowly from one side to the other, so as to greet
everyone intently. Every soul that had come to see
him received his attention before he sat down and
started with the talk. These were indescribable
peaceful and holy moments that gave an idea of the
complete communion with God. They seemed to be beyond
time and space and one wished that they may never
end.
Master's Satsangs were strong and captivating, it
seems they were more intense and impressive than
the years before in Jesolo. He placed great emphasis
on the sound meditation, the fundamental principle
of our life. To be connected with the sound current
is our main subject, everything else will fall in
place. When we lose the connection with the sound
current then we lose everything. It is the most
wonderful gift that has been given to us by the
Master. If we do not enjoy it as yet then we are
not fully immersed in it, have not understood the
power of it. "Concentrate on the sound. It
is the controlling power, the Word-God, it is truly
super"...."Go on with it, go on with it.
It will capture your mind like a strong hunter…..it
will take away the black veils of ignorance"….."Listen
to the sound, then you will escape the clutches
of the darkness…. Again and again the Master
besieges his disciples to make use of the holy sound
current in order to dispel all troubles and to conquer
the all-powerful mind.
In the evening Satsang of June 1, Master pointed
out that the people of the world could not understand
the Truth, because they use only mind and intellect.
But the Truth can only be understood by the soul.
Later on in the Satsang He assured the initiates:
"This is a guarantee for you, that when you
meditate regularly you will be taken to God. You
will reach the highest goal of oneness with Him".
Aside from the two daily Satsangs Master took the
opportunity of this 2 week Retreat to meet with
the active workers, the Board and Representative
of each and every country of Europe to discuss the
Mission work and to assure its progress. Master
paid close attention to all details, made comments
and gave many suggestions. By the end of the Retreat
He felt strongly that the work in Europe should
accelerate and adopted a suggestion for a change
in the organization structure. As a result, altogether
9 Regions were created, each one of them headed
by a Regional Representative. For Germany, the country
with the largest number of initiates, Master appointed
two more Spiritual Representatives.
One of the recommendations which Master had made
for this Retreat, was to use a good amount of raw
food as opposed to only cooked food. Many dear ones
followed this proposal and Master himself took two
third of raw food in his daily meals. Aside from
walking to and from the Satsang tent as well as
to the meeting hall, Master made a daily walk around
the property. Each time some dear ones from a particular
country were allowed to accompany him, and many
initiates took the chance to get a glimpse of him
from the distance. Master was particularly pleased
to see so many dear ones meditating in the Satsang
tent or under the shade of the trees during the
leisure hours of the Retreat.
The days were filled with lots of sunshine and at
times it felt as hot as India during the monsoon,
given the high humidity. Nobody seemed to mind it,
however, although some could not resist the temptation
to take a plunge in the cooling water of the Mediterranean
Sea, which was glistening like diamonds in the sunlight.
The days passed all too fast in this happy, tranquil
and love-filled atmosphere, even though this time
the Retreat lasted for 14 days rather than 10 days
in the past years. The official photographers were
busy taking shots of Master and the visitors. A
special crew of devoted photographers and computer
wizards posted the best photos of every Retreat
day on the internet, with a short explanation in
German and English, so that those who could not
come would be able to follow the Retreat live on
a daily basis. A free service was provided for the
participants to send greetings to their loved ones
far and near via email; something that was enthusiastically
welcomed and used by hundreds of visitors.
Several thousands of books, videos and CD's were
sold in the store of Edition Naam publishing Company,
and the dear ones who copied the daily Satsang recordings
worked night-shifts to meet the high demand for
the Satsang tapes.
On June 8, Master departed the Retreat grounds
early morning to move on to the next destination
of his world tour. Again the dear ones lined up
along the road leading to the main gate of the village,
this time to bid farewell and to receive a final
loving glimpse from his Godly eyes. Master walked
slowly along the stretch of the road and filled
everyone's cup to the brim. He promised to come
back as soon as possible, so as to console the yearning
hearts and to give them strength and hope until
His next time around.

in Canada
June 13, 14, 15 Montreal; June 17,18 Quebec City
Master's intention of spending one month in Canada
came as a very pleasant surprise and unexpected
blessing the God-Power showered on this country.
The tour plan placed Eastern Canada (Montreal and
Quebec city) as the first tour stops. Preparations
started well in advance with hall bookings, fundraising
activities including a classical Indian music concert,
a special edition of the Newsletter "Le Verbe"
to inform people of Master's coming, extensive publicity
and many other details. The energy created by the
good news drew many hearts and hands to offer their
help at all levels.
Master wrote on December 3rd, 2002: "I know
you will nicely plan ahead for my visit next year.
It will be wonderful to be in your region and I
am looking forward to it." These special words
gave everyone the special boost to plan the tour
stops with their best possible efforts to welcome
Master. After all Sant Thakar Singh was to visit
Quebec City for the first time ever. This kindled
flames of love, hope and devotion in the hearts
of the dear ones in Quebec City. The Montrealers
also felt privileged and delighted to have the opportunity
to prepare a warm welcome for their dear Father
after 6 long years.
The weekend chosen for the talks in Montreal coincided
with Montreal's annual "Grand Prix" (an
international car race which draws thousands of
people from across the world). For us dear Master's
coming to this city was the real "Grand Prix"
(big prize) to flood the area with Godly radiations...
and indeed it did!
Central locations were found in Montreal and Quebec
City for the public talks. It was also decided to
have the third day of Montreal talks in Laval (the
north shore of Montreal) to benefit that area with
Master's presence for the first time ever.
Once the halls were secured the planning team focused
on publicity. Thorough research was done on all
newspapers, radios, TVs and other outdoor advertising.
One of the outstanding discoveries of this research
was finding a special deal on Billboard advertising
in Montreal and Quebec City. One of the national
companies offered 20 outdoor billboards, (each 20
feet wide by 10 feet high) at a very special inexpensive
rate, which only could have been arranged by the
God Power. When the local initiates found out about
this special low cost many generous hearts donated
to take full advantage of this unique advertising
to announce Master's coming event on 15 big billboards
across Montreal and 5 across Quebec City. It was
moving and impressive to catch, in different parts
of the city, large photos of dear Master's radiant
face and penetrating loving eyes, which could be
seen even from a long distance. It was the first
time ever the region did such large-scale publicity.
When driving Master in Montreal we excitedly pointed
out the billboard to Master. When we asked him of
the benefits of this publicity he replied, "A
seed is sown in the people when they see the photo
of the Master."
The day of Master's arrival was nearing and our
hearts were anxious to see Him among us. Finally
Master arrived on the evening of Thursday June 12th
at 8pm. Two dear ones saw Master through the security
doors as he was waiting for the luggage, they spontaneously
waved and Master responded by waving back in a very
sweet gesture. When he came out he looked strong
and radiant, a king of spirituality and yet full
of sweetness, love and humility. He blessed the
dear ones who came to receive him and went to the
Montreal Centre where he would stay.
"Very nice!" were Master and Marialuise's
first words as they entered and felt the warm and
welcoming atmosphere of the Montreal center. Everyone
was happy and had smiles on their faces. One dear
one said "This place is a blessing from you."
To which Master lovingly replied "Yes, now
it is blessed!"
The first talk took place on Friday, June 13 at
10 a.m. It was a family talk, which wasn't advertised
to the public. 250 dear ones gathered to listen
to Master's message. He spoke about Love. He explained
the characteristics of God's love and the love of
this world. He told us that we search all along
this life for a loving friend who does not change
but it is not possible in this world. He said: "We
have not known, we have not believed what love He
has for us" and "this is the demand of
the relation of love, that we are to live for others;
service before self." At this first talk many
new initiates saw the physical Master for the first
time. They were happy and many had tears in their
eyes.
Master met with his active workers after the morning
talk and meditation. He informed them about the
change he recently made regarding the time devoted
to Sound and Light meditation: 75% on Sound and
25 % on Light. He explained again the importance
of Sound meditation and invited us to rely on this
practice to find the solutions to all our problems.
The evening public talk took place at 7 p.m. Many
seekers attended this talk. The total attendance
was approximately 500 people. Master spoke from
his heart and captured their hearts when he spoke
about the Way of Life and the perfection of the
soul. More than 150 people followed his humble request
to accept the gift of the initiation and received
the connection to the inner Light and Sound. It
was a beautiful scene to see all these eager souls
getting connected to their higher self, not minding
being close to each other. This scene reminded many
initiating representatives of the large initiations,
which take place in Mexico or India. Many new initiates
later said that they could not deny the great spiritual
power and the great "vibrations" emanating
from this man.
Saturday was a busy day for Master with two public
talks and initiation in the morning at 10 a.m. and
in the evening at 7 p.m. Master started the morning
talk by asking this question: "Why am I not
resting in my home, why am I running day and night?
And he answered: "God is feeling alone in His
Kingdom. His family members are rotting over here
in this world, suffering over here. Worries, problems,
diseases and death is always hovering upon our head."
The evening talk was very powerful. Master explained
the creation of the Son of God: the human being;
how he was sent into this world and the conversations
and agreements that took place between God and the
negative power. His elegant, informative style captured
the hearts, minds and souls of the audience. He
conveyed the truth in a strong and loving way. Master
said: "In the man, all macrocosm, all microcosm,
all galaxies and everything which was made is there
existing. And 330 million angels are also included
in the man. And God Himself, who is the Alpha and
the Omega, the Last and the First, the final one,
is also in this man." On that evening 80 souls
were initiated into the inner Light & Sound.
After the talk, in the car, Master commented that
something had been given by God in a new way, not
spoken of like that before, and it was coming in
a natural flow from God.
On Sunday morning Master gave a family talk in
Laval. In this Satsang he stressed the importance
of meditation and asked people to offer their houses
for full time meditators. Following the Satsang
Master met with the core workers in Montreal followed
by a meeting with the active workers in the area.
Master touched the hearts again and when he left
no one wanted to stand up to leave. Everybody felt
like closing their eyes and meditating to absorb
the Godly gifts he bestowed on them.
The final public talk in Montreal area took place
in the evening in Laval. In this talk Master weaved
into his Satsang the story of the King who drove
his wife and son away in order to marry another
woman. In a skillful manner and through his unique
style he explained the whole theory of the Path
of Sant Mat through this story. The wise mother
advised her child to go to the wilderness, ask God
for help and find a competent Master. After meditating
the child reached God and God was ready to fulfill
all his desires. After finding the inner bliss the
child was no longer interested in the worldly kingdom.
Through this story Master explained the need and
importance of the living competent Master, the importance
and value of the meditations, the law of karma and
the higher law of God. 90 seekers stayed to learn
the meditation on that evening.
All in all, in the Montreal area, a total of 360
souls were initiated through the mercy and love
of the God-Power during 4 public talks.
On Monday Master went to Quebec City after stopping
on the way for a short visit in the home of an initiate
in the countryside who wishes to serve other initiates
by offering his home for meditation retreats. Master
toured the property and lovingly made suggestions
on how the place could benefit the people.
In Quebec City the talks took place on June 17
and 18. The morning ones being family talks and
the evening ones the public talks followed by initiation.
Many people worked hard to prepare for these talks.
In fact through their relentless efforts a large
health food store in Quebec City agreed to put the
posters on their main counter, and even gave people
the flyers after they paid for their groceries.
One of the big billboards was located on St-Jean
street, a busy downtown street, where all the cafés
and restaurants are located. Pedestrians walking
in this street could enjoy Master's powerful picture
announcing the Way of Life talks in their city.
With the loving hands of many people and the grace
of God Power the two public talks were very well
attended and 200 lucky souls found the holy inner
light and sound. The audience clapped at the end
of every evening talk out of joy and gratitude for
the love Master showered upon them.
The family talk on the morning of Wednesday June
18 was a Questions & Answers talk. It was one
of the most remarkable, loving and revealing Satsangs
our Master gave in this province. Dear Master detailed
the importance of Satsang in many aspects. He explained
how the receptivity to his physical presence depends
on our own clarity, told us the criteria to find
the inner Master and shared with us from his heart
how God's love works in the Master. He said:
"There is someone who has love for us. He
is God and that is working in the Master. And Master
gives his Life to his initiates. In this world you
will not find anyone who will give his life to you.Master
comes as God comes from his highest heavens just
for the purpose to suffer for his holy family,that
they may not suffer further. He is ready to accept
every kind of soul, whether sinner, or whatever
horrible or bad actions it has done; he doesn't
care for that. Although he has to pay for all suchlike
hard karmas on his own self. That is why God had
to take a physical body of a human being. to come
in this world."
"Master has offered himself: that I am ready
to suffer for humanity in any way, but I have to
do this work, that I may bless the people of this
world. He has got a big heart, big love and he can
bear all these things. But still he will laugh with
you, smile with you and will look like he is not
suffering, he is happy, because he has very much
power in him that he can do so many things at a
time. And mostly you are lucky that there is somebody
who loves you..."
At the end of the last talk, as Master was walking
down the isle, everyone was silent and the room
was bursting with emotion. A soothing musical sound,
perfectly fitting the mood, could be heard as an
initiate devotedly strummed the strings of a glorious
golden harp. Before Master left the room, he stopped,turned,
and waved at everyone motioning goodbye. It was
a moving and unforgettable moment for the dear ones
of Quebec City who had long hoped to have Master
visit their City and had their wish fulfilled.
Time went so fast. He came, showered his blessings
like sunrays, planted 560 new seeds and watered
the growing plants. God's mission is no doubt growing
and we were lucky to witness the miracles of his
love.
TORONTO, June 20, 21, 22
The sponsoring organization, Science of the Soul
(a registered Canadian charity) and hundreds of
Sant Thakar Singh's students eagerly anticipated
Sant Thakar Singh's arrival, preparing many months
in advance for the events. Early on in the preparations,
Sant Thakar Singh had said in a telephone conversation
with Western Canada's representative, Viktor Schoeggl,
that the Canadian tour would be a success as everything
was already arranged on the inner planes.
The venue was Walter Hall at the University of Toronto's
Faculty of Music in downtown Toronto. Sant Thakar
Singh had given talks at the same location in 1999
on his previous visit to Toronto. Prior to arriving
in Toronto, Sant Thakar Singh had given talks in
Montreal, Laval and Quebec City and initiated hundreds
of souls.
Sant Thakar Singh arrived at Pearson Airport in
Toronto from Montreal on the afternoon of June 19.
Shortly afterwards, Sant Thakar Singh was driven
to the apartment of a local volunteer who had given
up her residence for him for the duration of his
stay in Toronto. After entering the apartment, Sant
Thakar Singh reached for the lower shelf of a bookcase
and picked up a magazine with a beautiful picture
of his own spiritual guide, Sant Kirpal Singh, on
the cover. He kept the magazine in his lap while
he conversed with the small group who had escorted
him from the airport and received him at the apartment.
Although a small gesture, the respect and devotion
he showed for Sant Kirpal Singh could not be mistaken.
On June 20, Sant Thakar Singh gave welcome talk
at 10 a.m. to an audience of 220 people. Stressing
the importance of the human body, Sant Thakar Singh
said, "We find the human body after travelling
through the bodies of many species of life and it
might have taken millions and billions of years
to reach the human body. God didn't send us in the
world to suffer. Rather, he sent us with some competencies,
powers and intelligence so that we can accomplish
an urgent job, which cannot be done by anyone else.
And if this great purpose is not served or handled
properly, it will create some problem in some part
of God's creation. Before taking birth, the human
body is equipped with the Kingdom of God and God
within. The purpose of human life is only to be
perfect like God and His kingdom and live in this
world in perfection like God and then we may enjoy
this life."
After the program, Sant Thakar Singh held a half-hour
meeting with the Ontario volunteers. During the
meeting, Sant Thakar Singh explained that when one's
soul is strengthened, then that person automatically
starts working for God. It was mentioned to him
that the hall at the University had been provided
for free. (A film company needed the hall which
had originally been booked for Sant Thakar Singh.
In compensation, the film company paid for an alternate
venue, Walter Hall, a $10,000 expense.) Sant Thakar
Singh commented that if we are for God, then God
is also for us. It was a wonderful blessing for
the sponsoring charity, Science of the Soul, which
had been working hard to raise the much-needed funds
for Sant Thakar Singh's tour.
A complementary vegetarian lunch was served after
each morning program in the "Philosopher's
Walk," a park beside the hall. People enjoyed
the food in the warm, sunny weather each day.
The evening program started at 7 p.m. and was attended
by 307 people; 87 new students of Sant Mat learned
to meditate on the Inner Light and Sound. As the
new students sat for their first time in meditation,
Sant Thakar Singh walked through the rows of seats,
giving help to each, where needed, with loving care
and attention. People sat quietly when he put his
hands on their heads or touched their foreheads.
Untroubled by funny hats or strange postures, Sant
Thakar Singh quietly removed their hats and adjusted
to their positions in order to give them help. He
walked like a father among his children. Sant Thakar
Singh mentioned in another talk that if the love
in our hearts is strong, then it will overcome the
negativity in the hearts of others. After each program,
Sant Thakar Singh distributed a small packet of
blessed food to the new people. Before exiting the
hall, Sant Thakar Singh waved to everyone.
The morning program of June 21 started at 10 a.m.
and was attended by 280 people. Sant Thakar Singh
said in the talk, "We are in this world. It
is dangerous also - horribly, terribly dangerous,
but it is also very, very wonderful; very, very
beautiful. You can enjoy wonderfully all along,
forever, for eternity; but you will have to adopt
the way of life which has been given to you by the
spiritual Masters. Go along with that - with the
sound and with the light and everything will be
accomplished for you because that is the Doer-Power
of God and the Doer-Power can only do something
that is in your favor. Otherwise, the negativity
that is working everywhere in the world cannot help
you. There are some who are suffering because they
did not really accept me; although, I have not connected
anyone of you with me. I have connected you with
that eternal God-Power, eternal Master-Power which
was in the beginning: 'In the beginning was the
Word and Word was with God and the Word was God.'
I have connected all of you with Word God, not with
my body or with myself. And that is eternal Master,
eternal God and that has been connected with you,
and that is dependable and believable. He is the
Doer-Power. 'Everything was made by Him. There was
nothing made that was not made by Him.' And He's
there with you. It is your own Self. So find your
own Self and enjoy yourself and everything is there
for you, my dear."
A meeting took place with Sant Thakar Singh and
the Indian volunteers after the morning talk. Sant
Thakar Singh said that we should have something
first with ourselves, only then we'll be able to
give something to others. So we should meditate
first and only then we'll be able to help others.
One person mentioned that they had been trying to
get a meditation centre, but things did not work
out. Sant Thakar Singh said that the body itself
is the center and that we should meditate in it
first. He suggested that some people could offer
their homes for 3-4 hours everyday where people
could come and meditate together. He further said
that we shouldn't waste our time watching T.V.,
etc. because it will only ruin us. It is better
to meditate instead, said Sant Thakar Singh, because
it will accomplish everything for us.
Western Canada's Representative, Viktor Schoeggl

in any money in the parking meter after the parking
